The heavy-gauge polished aluminum canister is clad with a stainless steel base for fast and even heating. The canner is also outfitted with useful safety features. An easy-to-read deluxe pressure gauge automatically registers a complete range of processing pressures and a pressure regulator allows for the releasing of excess pressure from the unit. The air vent/cover lock allows pressure to build up only when the cover is closed properly and prevents the cover from opening until the pressure has been reduced to a safe level.
